Privacy Policy
Tangleproof Purl is designed to work on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not operate a backend that collects your knitting projects for our servers.
Information we store on your device
Project names, counters, pattern notes, reminders, session history, photos you attach, and settings are saved locally on your iPhone. Removing the app deletes this data according to iOS storage rules.
Camera & photo library
If you choose to capture or attach progress photos, the app accesses the camera or photo library only to store those images with your project. Images stay on device.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use your project content for advertising profiles.
- We do not require sign-in to use the core counting features.
Third parties
App Store distribution is handled by Apple. Any analytics or crash tooling that Apple provides at the platform level is governed by Apple’s policies and your device settings.
Children
The app is a general-audience utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
